Nature Nook : Not far off the AVT there is a dip to the river surface where we tiptoe to catch glimpses of ducks, geese and the occassional something looks like an otter.  Thats IF I can keep my son from skipping stones :)

My serenity : Enough people have commented so I thought I'd post a little more info.  This is a view of the Allegheny River near my house during a dry spell.  Not a lake.  Yes that is an island in the middle.  I believe its the first in the series of 3 puffs of land we see on our hike to Belmar Bridge.  If you look REALLY close you can see a brown speck of a house dead center.  I want to live there :)
